Knox County is intersected by two major US Highway systems, all routes conform to Federal and State safety regulations for oversized and overweight vehicles. 

• US 41 is a north-south route which runs from Chicago, IL to Nashville, TN, and meets 1-65, 1-24 and 1-40.  
• At Terre Haute, IN, US 41 intersects 1-70 and I-64 at Evansville, IN (only 45 minutes from Vincennes). 
• US 50 is an east-west route which runs from Washington, DC to Kansas City, MO. US 50 intersects 1-65 at Seymour, IN and 1-64 at St Louis, MO.

Knox County is served by CSX Transportation, with two main lines intersecting at Vincennes, IN. The CSX North-South main line and East-West main line allow for rail shipping service to anywhere in the continental United States and Canada.

Knox County is served by one regional and two international airports, all within easy driving distance. Mid-American Air Center (8 miles west of Vincennes) features two 5,200 feet runways, charter and air tax service and is a foreign trade zone.

Shipping hubs for FedEx (Indianapolis) and UPS (Louisville) are within easy reach for air shipment. For personal transportation, the Evansville Regional Airport provides daily flights to many major U.S. cities, and the Indianapolis International Airport has a growing roster of flights abroad – including non-stop to Paris.
