Tuesday, February 25,  3 – 4:30PM   |  Online     $$25 registration fee
(all proceeds directed for hurricane relief in North & South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida as well as wildfire relief efforts in California)

The Indiana, Illinois and National District Export Councils invite you to our Doing Business with Vietnam Webinar on February 25, 2025, 3:00PM to 4:30PM EST.  This program builds on our ASEAN Business Conference providing all exporters an in-depth understanding of how best to strategically position for economic success in this burgeoning Asian economy.

Since the normalization of relations between the U.S. and Vietnam in 1995 and the signing of the Vietnam-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2023, there has been a surge in bilateral trade and investment. According to Pew Research 84% of Vietnamese hold a favorable view of the U.S. and consider America a key partner. Accordingly, U.S. exports to Vietnam have doubled over the past decade to over $12 billion including $520 million in combined Illinois and Indiana exports.

The webinar features senior economic officials from the Vietnamese embassy providing insights into cultural nuances and effective engagement with Vietnamese businesses. Additionally, Indiana and Illinois companies exporting and doing business with Vietnam will share strategies for overcoming challenges and achieving success in this dynamic market.
