VINCENNES – Movin’ in with Talent – McKenna and Bryce Shamburg (pictured left with parents Gary and Karen Goss) are the first to move to Vincennes as part of the Knox County Make My Move program. The couple moved to Knox County from Utah. Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum (far right) and Mary Jo Wallin-Orlowski, Director of Business Development for Knox County Indiana Economic Development, officially welcomed the couple with a gift basket from Knox County organizations and an incentive check on May 13.
“We have well over 100 people considering a move to Knox County through the Make My Move initiative,” said Wallin-Orlowski. “Several offers have been made and we’re pleased with the progress.” The Make My Move program directly impacts population growth for the county.
