A focus on raising capital to accelerate entrepreneurial programs will be paired with a new initiative in 2027 that expands the Pantheon’s outreach, said David Woodbury, new Executive Director of the Vincennes-based entrepreneur and business development organization. Woodbury plans to “flip the traditional acceleration model” and launch the Distribution Lab, a new accelerator program that would help entrepreneurs turn existing professional networks into new business opportunities.

In an interview with Inside Indiana Business, Woodbury said that the Distribution Lab program is part of a broader vision that he has for The Pantheon, including expanding its programming and reaching entrepreneurs outside of Vincennes.

In IIB coverage, Woodbury described himself as a serial entrepreneur and said his experience building businesses gives him a personal connection to The Pantheon’s mission.

He has built four companies in industries including technology, software, digital services and e-commerce.

“I also have a real passion for rural communities and development,” Woodbury said in an IIB interview. “I think it’s just such an underserved place in our country in general.”

Coming to Vincennes from a successful entrepreneurial career in Grand Rapids, Mich., Woodbury said he plans to expand the Vincennes business incubator’s reach, attract more private investment, and create new businesses across Indiana.

“The Pantheon has established itself as a critical initiator and catalyst for business growth and development in the region, and we look forward to seeing David’s vision take hold in expanding the Pantheon’s positive impact,” said Chris Pfaff, CEO of Knox County Indiana Economic Development.

The Pantheon recently helped launch the Fintech company Fallow AG, which will focus on helping farmers and agricultural professionals gain access to capital and investment opportunities.

Woodbury formally started his new position in late August.
